Abstract: This work is the result of a bibliographical research on the influential relationship of the server leader in the performance of his team. Having as a starting point the "history of leadership" and, as the point of arrival "the influencing servant leadership in team performance," the research carried out aimed at attesting the knowledge produced and its practical application in organizations by the leaderships. In this regard, knowledge about people management has contributed to the achievement of the proposed goal. The relevance of a work in this perspective presupposes that the role of leadership is to lead its team to achieve the best results, making it indispensable that it knows and practices the scientific knowledge on the subject. It sought to understand the history of leadership, with its theories and styles, the role of the leader within organizations with their skills and abilities, and the contemporary challenges of organizations. The question that guided the research can be thus defined: how does the servant leadership influence the team's results?
