This research aimed to understand that the recognition of the psychosocial burnout of regular aviation pilots can contribute to the prevention of air accidents and accidents. It is an explanatory research, qualitative and with bibliographic and documentary procedure through the consultation of books, laws, regulations, reports and regulatory documents. Data analysis is done through consultation with existing laws and regulations in the sector, statistical documents of government agencies, reports and comparative statistical surveys, showing behavioral change of reality, present and past in the aeronautical environment. The theoretical basis of the research was the ICAO documents on Human factors and safety management, also used government statistical data and specialized journals on accidents and aeronautical incidents. It ends with the understanding that the psychosocial factor has a significant influence on aeronautical accidents and incidents, being difficult to identify and understand on the part of the pilots of a regular airline, needing to improve the training and the mental conditioning of the aviators for the recognition the same. This research opens new possibilities for studies and improvement in areas such as psychology, engineering and aeronautics.pt_BR
